18 Best Mom Blogs of 2021 (That Make Money)

18 Best Mom Blogs of 2021 (That Make Money)

Best mom blogs that make money

What do the best mom blogs have in common? They’re all personal blogs created by moms as a hobby that have now morphed into highly profitable businesses.

Mom blogs are some of the most popular blog niches around. And, for good reason. What better source for moms to learn tips and tricks on parenting than from other moms?

But mom blogs are more than just about motherhood, they can be about pregnancy, parenting, life, and household topics.

If you’re a mom and want to share some of your best mom-hacks, perhaps you should think about starting a mom blog yourself!

How to start a mom blog

Get your blog online

To start a mom blog, pick a catchy blog name first. Look at other mom bloggers to find inspiration on a name. You can see this resource I wrote for choosing a blog name if you need more help deciding.

After that, you need to register your domain name and get hosting for your new site. I recommend starting your blog with Bluehost for hosting and using WordPress as your blog platform.

Ready to get started? Start by choosing a domain name below for your new men’s blog!

Design your mom blog

To design your new blog, choose the blog theme I use, the Astra Pro theme. To get your blog designed, simply use their starter templates to design your blog quickly. You won’t be stuck with a template, though. You can easily change up the colors to get just the right look.

To design your main pages, such as your homepage, blog page, about me page, etc., use the Elementor plugin. It’s the best page builder to design landing pages.

Write blog posts

Now, it’s time to create content for your mom blog. Start by writing your first blog post. When you’re stuck on blog post ideas, use my list of blog post ideas.

For endless blog post ideas, use tools like Google Trends and SEMRush to find popular and trending topics to write about. SEMRush is particularly valuable because it lets you spy on other mom bloggers to find their most popular keywords and blog posts.

Another tool I use to write epic content is Grammarly Pro. It’s useful for more than just spelling and grammar. If you want to create one of the best mom blogs, focus on your writing. Content is what will make or break your blog, so it’s important to use the best blog tools.

Finally, use my blog post checklist and go through the entire list before you hit publish.
